Mortgage Lender in Virginia

Newly licensed in Virginia, and the state is a natural fit — Hampton Roads is one of the densest concentrations of VA-eligible buyers in the country, and Northern Virginia is a jumbo market with a lot of non-standard income in it.

What Matters Here

Lending in Virginia

Every state has its own habits — who closes the file, which programs come up, and what stalls a deal. These are the ones that come up in Virginia.

VA

VA loans in Hampton Roads

Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Newport News mean a large active-duty and veteran population. A VA loan with no down payment and no monthly mortgage insurance is frequently the strongest option on the table, and entitlement can be restored or used more than once.

VA

Northern Virginia jumbo and high-balance

Arlington and Alexandria prices push a lot of files past conforming limits. Jumbo underwriting is its own discipline — reserves, documentation and appraisal standards all tighten.

Virginia Mortgage FAQ

Are you licensed to lend in Virginia?

Yes. Tyler Nagorski is personally licensed in Virginia under NMLS #2346195, working from the CrossCountry Mortgage branch at 895 Island Park Drive, Suite 202, Daniel Island, SC (Branch NMLS #2413611). CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC (NMLS #3029) is licensed in all 50 states.

What loan programs are available in Virginia?

Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo financing, plus the NonQM programs most lenders do not carry — bank statement, DSCR, 1099, asset depletion and WVOE. Which one fits depends on how your income is documented, not on how much of it there is.

I was turned down by another lender in Virginia. Can you help?

Usually. Most lenders carry a handful of products and send a rejection when you do not fit one of them. If there is a path we will find it, and if there is not one yet we will tell you exactly what has to change and how long it should take.
